Question What Kind Of Brake Pads Should I Get?

Hey everyone, I am getting some drilled and slotted rotors for my 2000 Camry CE with the 14" wheels. I want brake pads that are good, but don't squeek.

Help please, need some insight.

I am currently thinking of getting Japan Pro-ACT pads (ceramic), about $60.00 per pair.

What you guys think

I know nothing about the brand you said you are getting so I can't comment on those. Unless you are building a show car, I would forego the slotted and cross drilled rotors and just get high quality pads. They are a waste of money IMO. I would go with some Axxis Metal Master pads. Those are what I will be putting on my car next and I have ridden around a road course in a modded 240sx equipped with the same pads. Stopped predictably, quick, and never faded lap after lap. And the car was being pushed very hard.

Braided stainless steel brake lines would help pedal feel a lot also. Those are the only two mods you really NEED for great breaking unless you wanna splurge for a big brake upgrade which is $$$$$
