Tow Bar Assembly Weight???

Hi, i would like to know if anyone knows the weight of the lower towbar assembly Pictured Here, is it worth removing it for less weight. It looks quite large and heavy.

probably a good 50 pounds, if you've removed your back seat and spare, then you might as well take it off

but if you ever have to tow something you'll be kicking yourself

lolz i've got that too, i've thought about takin it off, looks a bit cactus to me....i doubt i'll ever tow anything with it tho, had 3 big arse blokes and 40kg of records in my car on the weekend (total weight of 250kg) and damn my car felt so sloooow

i might take it off, i'll keep u updated mate....

50 pound or 22.6 kg is weight, i dont need, i have a 26KG subwoofer-box&amp attached in the boot. I dont remember where but i saw a post of a guy taking it off and said the car didnt drag the rear as much, and felt lighter. If you look at it it does look large and quite heavy. It also looks ugly drom the back.
