Question Unibody?

Okay, I had just hit a big-assed deer a couple of nights ago, and this screwed my hood, driver's side fender, and door all to hell. I'm thinking of ordering the body panels, such as the hood and fender, and getting the door from a junkyard, but the unibody seems to be "knocked out of line" according to the techs. Is there any possibly way that a DIY can straighten the unibody or come close to re-aligning it? Or is it best to leave it to the professionals on that one? Thanks.

There is no way u can straighten ur frame urself, the pros use a machine called the grabber ( might have a different name where ya at), a $12000 machine that straightens the frame, just take it to the shop....

There are 2 ways vehicles are usually built. Body on frame (like older cars, and most trucks) where the weak body is bolted to a strong steel frame that the suspension and drivetrain are attatched to. Unibody construction like most new cars, the suspension and drivetrain is attatched to the body.

The unibody is the shell of the car. if you take away the doors, fenders, hood, trunk, bumpers, interior, suspension, engine, and drivetrain, you're left with the "unibody"
