2004 Camery 4cld or 2000 avalon

Hey everyone. I'm new to the forum and have a quick question. I have a family member who is going to be giving me a car (I know amazing). They say i can either have the 2000 Avalon or the have a 2004 camry 4 cld. Both of the cars have about 55k on them. What do you think would be the better choice. I'm mostly concerned about dependability. Thanks in advance.

Well if they are both in the same condition and have the same mileage, this seems like a no brainer to me. Camry. It is newer. It will get better mileage too. The only reasons to take the Avalon are if you want the more power (V6) or you cart people around on a regular basis. The avalon has a larger back seating vicinity.

What are the trim levels?

Oh and welcome fine sir.........

You're probably fine with either car, but do check how much it costs to insure. I don't think there's much difference, but do check it out.

Personally, I would take the Camry for the same reason - newer and better mileage.

id probably take the camry... but your getting it for free... both very similar km's and what not... pick what you like , its your decision. Drive them both, see which one you like better etc. Go from there.
