Question Camry - 250000 miles

Hi ,

I have a '99 Toyota Camry which was purchased as a used car at 35000 miles. It now has a 145000 miles.

My intent is to use this car for another 100000 miles. The car has been serviced regularly at the recommended mileages.I service the car at the local Toyota dealership and the only services not completed are the optional ones. The last service at 140000 included battery replacement and fluid flushes.

My questions are :

1. Is it even perceivable to run this car for another 100000 miles?

2.If yes, what kind of servicing/detailing is necessary?

I am not very auto savvy and am desperately looking for advice.

Thanks,

Yes, it's quite possible to get 250k out of one (see my sig line). Many folks besides me have more than that. I've done nothing out of the ordinary, except oil changes every 3k miles (the manual recommends every 3750 miles for severe duty), but it's impossible to say if that's necessary or not. I'd say a certain amount of luck is involved too.
