Can I fit Alpine Type S 6x9 speakers in my Gen3 Camry with mods? I'm talking about the rear shelf and I don't want to chop up the metal just to put better speakers in.

oem speekers had 3 bolts holding it down aftermarket have 4.
thay will fit but you have it drill new holes,what i did was go thru the trunk take your layout and mark your holes and drill then put the speakers in. good luck

what stereo do you have? look under the pass seat is there a little black box?if so you have the premeum setup.you must take out the deck and look at the wires there will be two set of plugs disconect the radio's and the other set conect the radio to the one that matches.your door speakers will work fine like that. if no box just put them in and enjoy
