Just get all wheather tires. Any kind. And if your thinking about going fast in your camry, try to get something with a decent speed rating.

Now heres a question for u; how much do new steelies cost? I need4 more

I'm in the same predicament (sp?). I've been looking at Kumho ECSTA HP4 716's. Great reviews, and only $40 a pop. A definate upgrade over my Goodyear Allegra's

Well, it depends on how much snow you've got, and how much you'll be expecting this winter. Seeing as you're from Michigan, I'm assuming that you'll expect a bit...so, unless your roads tend to be well plowed, try to get your hands on a set of winter tires...on a set of steelies (so you don't have to take the car to a garage to change tires between seasons).

I find that all-seasons are garbage when it comes to dealing with snow. Acceleration traction is poor, stopping is poor...and this is on plowed roads.

Gridlyne...try getting a set of steelies at a junkyard ot autobody shop w/ scrap cars lying around. They'll sell for cheap.

Yea but Im having trouble finding 15" steelies. I never knew they would be so hard to find. And since they are rare around where I live; the junkers want to charge a an arm and a leg for them. 50 bux a steal wheel! Thats insane!
I bought my 16" Rims with low profiles used off a friend for $200. I'm not gonna fork over another 200 just for steel wheels.

You talkin' bout this massive snow we just got? I'm drivin' in it on Yokohama Avid T4s that are pretty okay in the snow. Nothing fantastic though.

Realistically I think I'd prefer to get some rims from a junkyard and put snow tires on them though.
