Taillight Question Need Help ASAP

When removing the carpet paneling in the trunk to unscrew the taillights are we supposed to just rip it off and those lil pins jus come out or is there an easier way to pull them out. plus when trying to pull off the taillight i snapped the clips is there any easy way to do this to ensure i wont break my other taillight. i have a 96 camry...any help is greatly appreciated

Well It's kinda hard but those pins do fit through those holes but u have to work them through and u have to push them . First remove the bolts and after work on the pins. They look a bit hard but I could push them out without braking them. Good luck !!
