95 Camry EGR valve

Was told that my egr evs?? valve was the cause of the car running rough at a stop in drive. Makes sence, but $470 for the part and 3 hours to install??? Its a 4cyl. Where is this ? Aren't they on the intake manifold somewhere, for tha vacumn? Thanks

EGR VSV, it is mounted underneath the intake manifold, however, it doesn't take 3 hrs to replace it. And it wouldn't have cause the engine to run rough at idle in stop either. If it stuck close, you don't have EGR when it should. If it is stuck open, you would have EGR when it shouldn't, during cold engine operation. A stuck open EGR valve, on the other hand, will cause that.
