Ok I am now looking for tuning equipment for my 5sfte project. I was originally going to go with mr2 2bar map sensor, adj fpr, and SAFC, but now am very strongly considereing just going with the adj fp, and the Greddy E-Manage.
I wanted to know from all of those that have the E-Manage what they think of the piggyback system, how well can you tune it, how user friendly is it?
Also, I'm going to have to pick up the optional boost sensor/harness for the emanage right? How much boost can that sensor accomodate for?
Thanx guys.

I've heard good things about it, but other then that I don't know anything about it.
Some of things I wanna know are:
1. Does it have different fueling options. ie. sequential fueling, batch fueling, etc..?
2. Does it have individual cylinder control?
3. Does it use a wideband 02 sensor or have the option to use one?

1. Nope
2. Nope
3. Nope
For the injection though, they have certain configurations for certain vehivles... I am sure that the configurations will allow alterations to the fuel injection, but it is not a raw feature that you can just choose from like a true standalone. Since it is a piggyback, it will adapt to whatever type of injection and firing that the stock ECU uses.
For O2 sensor input (like a Lambda input), the E-manage is not compatible to any other O2 sensor other than its own GReddy A/F meter and sensor. So if you have a Greddy A/F meter, you can hook up a cable directly into the E-manage and datalog the A/F curve.

well there is no wiring diagrm for the e-manage for the camry. So i am going to make one label it, etc and post it. It'd be helpful if those of you that have installed the SAFC on your 5sfe culd give some feedback on where you tapped in to all the sensors. the more info the more thorough and accuret guide we'll have, thanx guys.

The connections are made at the ecu.
So its just a matter of getting a diagram (pin out) for your ecu and figuring out which wires to tap into.
As for a personal review of the E-manage, it was really easy to install.. I had a 1MZ-FE shop manual and just find out which wires to tap... With the 1MZ-FE being Distributorless ignition, all six channels of the ignition at the ECU had to be cut and goes through the E-manage... I personally love the E-manage with the compatibility with the Profec E01 EBC and the display screen with the commander pad (easy on-the-fly tuning). It also has different options for MAF conpatibility... I am currently using a Supra TT MAF sensor, and the E-manage fully supports the switchover. And with it being a piggyback, the car idles stock and it is plug and play basically... No severe pre-setting up like standalones, and changes are made based on the stock ECU maps.
However, I am planning to switch over to a true standalone next year... I want to be able to get rid of the "MAF" setup and use a MAP sensor... I also want a standalone because I am better at tuning with raw maps rather than working upon the stock base maps (it confuses me because I do not know exactly what timing I am running, etc...)
For mild to medium setups (bolt-on turbo or SC at lower boosts, etc...), the E-manage will be perfect. It also handles up to 1.5x larger injectors, meaning that for a 5S-FE that comes with 240 cc/min (?), you can run 360cc injectors without touching any fuel maps at idle. If you are going to buy an SAFC or something like that, I would suggest pitch in another $200-300 and get the E-manage instead.
