for headlight 9006 blubs are 100W too much, will they have a negative effect on the wiriing/harness? If so is 65W the max then? Thanx guys

The amperage draw of the 100W is going to be what determines if the wires will handle the current without frying. However, I do not know what the amperage rating of the wires to the bulbs is or what the 100W bulbs will draw.

Higher voltage-> Lower amperage
Lower voltage-> Higher amperage

some people have melted their wiring harnesses with 100W bulbs

If your gunna use 100W bulbs I suggest that you upgrade the harness. Otherwise you might end up frying the stock harness.
