Question Help!!!

Sup everyone? I'm new to toyotas. I bought a 1999 camry LE like three months ago. And just recently, the brake light keeps coming on. I have no idea what the problem is. The e-brake is down, but the light turns on for no reason. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Brake Light

Check the brake fluid level, a low fluid level will turn the brake warning light on.
If level is low, check your brake pads, the fluid level will drop as the pad wear down.
Check for leaks.
Check the parking(emergency)brake switch.
hope this helps
