For the 2.2L engine you're probably talking about the 5S-FE.
92-96:
I think the ratings were approx. 135HP @ 6k RPM and 150 lb/ft of torque (I don't know where the torque peaks, maybe 3k.)

Originally posted by TadS The 2000 5S-FE is 138, but the older ones had a less efficient head, cooling wise or something not sure. 135 sounds about right to me.
It was for the entire series of 5sfe put in the gen4s and 4.5s.
And yeah the 135 figure is correct from everything I've heard, though tt-cc says 136
I dont think that one horse is gonna make a big difference, but hey 136 sounds better than 135 right? lol. While we are on this subject, how much horse does a stock 93 V6 get?

I'm pretty sure it's 130hp until 1995 when stricter polution laws caused toyota retune the engine, making it produce 125hp. But I'm the new guy, what do I know?

1MZFE, 188 hp - 94.5 - 96 V6
1MZFE, 194 hp - 97 - 01 V6, some got 192 if it is a ULEV
1MZFE, 210 hp - 02+ V6 (some got only 192 if it is a ULEV)
3MZFE, 225 hp - 03+ V6 SE only (and certain Camry Solaras)

From what I have read the California ones are about 5-8hp less than the normal ones for said reason, but I don't think anyone else was negativly effected
