Research is your best friend.
Simply read the boards and you will learn quite a bit about your car and your engine.

Since you have the 2.2L engine (5S-FE) you have several choices:

Burien turbocharger kit:

www.poweredbytoyota.com Look under 5S-FE turbo.

Rippmods supercharger kit:

www.rippmods.com

IMHO, getting a new V6 would be a viable option as well. However, swapping a V6 will probably cost more than either of these two forced induction systems.

The Burien kit has been on the market for quite some time now (Look for Meisner on the boards, he has it on his Camry.)

The Rippmods kit is a centrifugal supercharger kit and has just recently appeared on the market. (Shook is our resident tester for this kit.)

I would highly suggest you read or search the forums first about any questions you may have and then post about anything you can't find info on.

noobi......please do your research. take a look in this forum and on the net first.

toyota do not make a v4........(hate it when people say v4 !!!!!)

for a v6 swap as Yanahdi said, will end up costing more than for those forced induction options.

the choice is yours.

v6 swap would cost you more in parts purchases that it would to just buy a v6 gen 3...not worth it unless you want a learning experience.

My good deed for the day: You could always take your engine to a performance shop for a rebuild...you could get close to 500 bhp out of it if its done right (but its gonna cost you)
