Brake Hissing in the Cabin - 2007 Camry

Has anyone else had there Brake Power Assist Unit fail in less than two years?

Is anyone else experiencing a hissing noise in side the cabin when applying pressure to the brake pedal?

I have just taken mine into the dealer after hearing the noise and then feeling very soft braking. The diagnosis was that the hissing is from the a leak in the power assist unit which essentially renders the ABS brakes useless in an emergency situation.

Curious if anyone else has run into this - seems like a serious part defect - possible recall issue!

Anyone have any info on this?? I recently did a motor swap and the hissing noise come only when braking and it was not there prior to motor swap, I already changed the vacuum switching valve on the back of the air box any other ideas guys??
