How do I remove the e-brake cover?

Anyone out here know how to get the whole middle portion of the console covering the e-brake out of a gen 3?

just the little port? or the whole console?

cuz the little cover is easily removeble by sliding a credit card in from the top

the console is held in by a couple screws in the arm rest and a few on the sides i think, there might be some under the shifter trim too

dude, you're asking a lot of basic questions lately, go buy yourself a haynes or service manual

remove the trim around the shifter, pry on the bottom left and right sides with a flat head screwdriver. then there are 2 phillips head screws there. THEN inside the arm rest, you have to get the floor piece out, it just sits in there, so you have to pry it out with a knife or something. once you get that out, there are 1 or 2 bolts there 10 or 12mm... good luck! why are you doing this?

Just cleaning the car out. Getting all of the crumbs, dust, and soda out of there. I got the cover out, I couldn't beleive the amount of crap in there, and even though I cleaned it al out once it was removed there was an unbeleivable amount of stuff all over it. Now my car looks brand new, not a spec of dirt, or anything in sight.
