Well... they certainly will slide around a lot if you don't have good tires. Get snow/winter tires if you haven't already. BTW whereabouts in MA do you live?

Yeah they're pretty heavy so they drive good as long as u don't have summers on. I have all seasons on mine and I never slide.
Anyways that always depends on ur snow driving skills, and being in Canada I learned to drive on snow before than on asphalt !!

Me and My Blizzak tires didn't slide once in the 2 blizzards we got that left 3 feet of snow allready while my friends 2003 Audi A4 Quatro spun out with all season tires. I swear it drives better in the snow than on dry pavement.

I dunno about you guys but I was spinning around and my car got stuck in a pile of snow. I have all season tires also. I took advatange of my lack of traction and did shit I didn't usually do. So I kinda like it like this but hate when I have to really go somewhere in the snow.

Mines alright. I have a set of Bridgestone Blizzaks but they are huge 225/55/16's Mine are a winter tire package off of my 2000 Grand AM GT. Usually you want the most narrow tire for snow tires. Mine are wide and I get less traction than you would with a narrow tire but it definitely beats any all season..

You mean they have them on even during summer ????????

Even my featherweight gen2 drives fine through snow, but it helps to have good snow tires. Then again, it depends on where you are; up here in the northeast US (New York to be exact) they're a good idea. My car is also a stick, which is nice because in the snow the clutch acts as traction control- the amount of power going to the wheels depends on how far out you slip the clutch.

The Solara is alright, kinda forget that the car doesn't have abs some times, and I end up sliding a bit. That's about it. THis is my first winter driving with tokico/eibach set up + trd kit, so I'll see how this goes. SO far, one scratch cause snow covered
If we had any snow this year, I could tell you. This winter sucks. But when we DO have snow, my Gen3 drives foine. As long as you're not stupid with it, you won't have any problems. I just got some new all-season Kumho's, which will definately be better than my old Goodyear's, but I haven't gotten a chance to really try them out.
