Since it was the holidays and I never intended to take a vacation, I had a lot of spare time to work on my car
Anyway, there were lot of improvements that were needed from the first initial IC spray setup. At first, the spray jets which I had first used were not that great. I was getting a sraight stream of water coming out of the spray jets instead of a wide uniform spray that I wanted... So in a way it looked like a dog was pissing at the intercooler instead -- which basically does crap.
So then I picked up some wide spray jets (Acura washer nozzles) from a friend of mine for free and replaced the old crappy ones. Well, there was another problem. There was so little surface coverage; perhaps like 1/10 of the core was actually getting wet because the nozzle was shooting at a sharp angle. Also, only the lower part of the core was being sprayed because the nozzle was at the bumper opening -- not good enough.
After a bit of thinking, I decided to place the jets at a good location that would give a nice even coverage of the intercooler core... The key was to get the water jets as close as possible as well as parallel as possible to the intercooler core because it would make the spray "skip or skin" over the intercooler's surface. So as the engine fan pulls the air inwards or as the car is moving, the air would pull a nice layer of water through the intercooler for best effect (check out the pictures). This allowed about 75-80% of the core to be sprayed with water

I will also be using windshield washer fluid instead of water obviously, which should help heat dissipation and eliminate intercooler heat soak by a lot. The whole spray system is activated through my cruise control switch at my steering wheel (the switch is no longer used because cruise is removed anyways). So a push on the cruise control switch will let my intercooler take a cool bath
Anyways, here are the pics

Good even coverage... my system looks like the best one I have seen so far!

Cost of IC spray system:
- washer pump x2 -- $16
- fluid lines and T's-- $5
- Reservoir (spare sheet aluminum welded together) -- $2
- Spray Jets -- $Free...taken from friend's pile of junk
Total was about $23

So that's my picture update for this month...haha

Hope to be shooting videos of my Camry instead of pictures of it being stuck in my garage
