Compression Test Results

I did a compression test this weekend since I changed out the plugs that came in the car. I put in a set of NGK V-Powers. I have always had good results with NGK's in my DSM's so I used them in the Camry as well. Anyway here were my results..

190-190-190-192

I don't know what the tolerance is on the 5S-FE but I would assume these are good numbers. I don't have a factory service manual yet so can someone tell me what is says about where it should be at? Thanks,

a compression gauge... pull the wires off the rest of the spark plugs so the car won't start and crank for a couple of seconds

What you want to do is remove all the spark plug wires from the plugs. Then remove ALL 4 plugs. In the fuse box under the hood remove the EFI FUSE. Use a good quality compression tester that holds the max pressure. Screw the compression tester into the plug hole and make sure it is sealed well. Crank the engine over 6 times while pressing the accelerator to the floor. Check the psi reading. Check each cylinder.

I borrowed it from a friend a long time ago. He ended up giving it to me.
