Camry VS Buick Regal- your input is needed!

I frequent Car and Driver forums where there is a heated debate over Camry VS Regal, which has just gone into aftermarket Regals vs aftermarket Camrys. What are some of the FASTEST 4th and 5th generation Camrys out there? I need something comparable to a S/C Regal.

Look here for more insight, and feel free to post, Please!:

You do know that a supercharged Regal only puts out 240hp right? The 3800 II engine, without the S/C, displaces 3.8L and puts out 200hp.

You could put an s/c on a Camry Solara 1MZ V6 and get close to 300hp. You could take the current Camry SE V6 with the 3MZ, starting at 225hp and give the S/C Regal a decent run. Supercharge that, and with a better tranny, you could run with a stock MKIV Supra Twin Turbo.

Don't you get tired of those GM nuts that pay all that $$$ for a bigger V6 with less hp than Hyundais?

Somehow I get the feeling that the guy who posted it was very biased towards the Buick...

"Camry rides nice, but not as nice as the Regal.."

I mean come on... At least hide it a bit. Instead of leaving it so open.

I personally could care less for a race between the two. In the end us Camry drivers will be alive longer because a majority of the Buick drivers are in their 80's!!!
(Please note I do not base this upon fact, I'm just saying it for fun )

ya i could hardly tell he was biased when he posted the pictures of the interiors, using a bad pic of a gen 4, and also using the 3.0L engine instead of the 3.3
