Camry LE vibration

I have a 2007 LE 4cyl toyota camry with 42K miles on it. Recently I started feeling vibaration at 40-50 mph at an rpm of sligtly less than 1500 rpm. Also the downshift from 2nd to 1st is harsh. Anybody with the same concern and suggestions

See my post dated today in this thread:

Front Brake Rotors Grooved on Gen 6

There are 2 TSB's listed there which when applied by your dealer will solve both issues.

Yep, I did take print outs of the 2 TSB's, 68 and 69. The dealer said he applied the latest ECM update and still no results.
Now the car is again at the dealer and Toyota is also involved this time, he said he has to check the ECM calibration again and if that doesnt work, change of transmission.

Transmission issue

Bingo, the dealer called me yesterday and let me know that toyota engineer and them decided to change the entire transmission on my car along with the torque converter.

Toyota corporation called and informed the same. Stormed on them for degrading the camry quality and only giving me a warranty to 60K on the car. What if the transmission again breaks down after 70 K with only 25 K on the new transmission. I asked for an extended warranty. They would get back to me on this.

Anyways they atleast changed the whole transmission.
