Exclamation Catalytic Converter for 03 Camry

Hi all,

a few months ago bought my first Toyota which is a 2003 Camry LE 4 cylinders and know my engine check light came up and code is 0420. I got the code and Oxygen sensor checked so the problem is at catalytic converter. The replacement converter cost is insane at the dealer as usual. A private Toyota service gave a $570 + Tax for replacing this with original converter that is still considerably high. After market replacement which will be welded into place of the old one costs around $240+tax. I tried to find out how after market converters have been performing for the Camry but couldn't find out relevant posts. Anyway my questions

- what is your experience with a after market cat converter?
- what brand name and model you used as replacement?

even though you have not replaced your cat converter at all, you all experienced Toyota savvy guys' comments will be appreciated a lot.
Thanks in advance

catalytic converter should be under the emission warranty, check with toyota to see if it is covered. i know it varies state to state, not familiar with ga. a good brand for aftermarket is http://www.randomtechnology.com/

there is also a few choices from rockauto ranging from 230-413
