Gas question

Just wondering, what the difference on HP is from running 85 octane to 93 octane on my stock 5sfe Gen3? Wondering if it's worth the extra 50 cents a gallon.

if it makes you psychologically feel better, then get the 93 octane. actually someone on this forum told me if i went 93 over regular, i'd get a hp increase of 1 or 2.

Thats what I was thinking, not that I would even notice 1-2 hp. Racing gas is what, 117 octane, and that adds quite a few ponies, so 85-93 must make a small difference.

but i've also heard that unless you have forced induction, putting too high octane is actually bad, someone want to confirm that?
