Canada Japenese Inner Tie Rod

Thanks to everyone for the advice on clicking steering.
One last question. I have found a replacement inner tie rod online made by the company Sankei. The company is from JAPAN. Does anyone know if this means the part is made in JAPAN too?

Otherwsie - I can go pick up a chinese made tie rod today - no wait - same price.

Any recommendations? Does anyone know if Sankei is made in JAPAN therefore better?

Thanks

Dunno, but if the boot has been torn, there could be a possibility(depending on how long it's been ripped) that enough dust and dirt has got inside to ruin the rack. Keep in mind that there are internal gears you turn to adjust the alignment as well as steering system and they are sensitive to the 0.0xmm.

If it doesn't cost too much, i'd consider getting a whole new rack or a second hand from the junkyard/wreckers which DOES NOT have any frontal damage i.e. got rear ended or T-boned, closer to the rear.

The name appears to be linked with quality auto parts. But who knows.

The issue with quality might be long term, the better part may last longer. How long do you plan to keep the car.
