Easy now Bluey!! I think that since they are not the same part number, they must be different. How different is another story. One might have a heat sheild or a bump or crease that's different, or they might have made them in different factories or at different times, that's the JIT way. I think that it's still worth a shot to check. This could revolutionize the production of aftermarket Y-pipes. Just think, if they're all the same, the R&D costs are 1/3 and the market is 3 times larger (at least). Try anyway!

True, but Toyota is prolific for totally uneccessary part numbers on identical parts. I have the Toyota microfiche and each part has at least 9 or 10 different numbers. I doubt there are so many distinctions.

Like Darryl pointed out before, I think whoever goes in next (Phi, Dickson, whoever) should first try to test fit the jig made from my car, and IF it doesnt fit, then to go ahead and make a new prototype.
