how about in a small engine n/a class.... there's all kinds of classes out there

oh and smt_007, sure it might have started as a 3sge, but its a race engine, its worth more than you, so if you do the swap, you shouldn't expect much more (the engine does breathe better 21 vs 45 degree valve angle)

I understand, im not expecting miracles, i just have an oportunity to get a gen3 3sge so il be putting it in the camry, the engine im getting is a gen3 3sge 123kw or 165Hp , ive been talking to a guy that races 3sges and he said it can make 250hp+ in n/a form, it just depends howmuch you want to spend. These are cars it races against:

yeah 3sge is a great performance NA engine... if you are going for NA, this is the engine to get for a 4cyl toyota.... the ungrades are endless... cams, pulleys, port & polish, bigger race valves, springs, O/S pistons, fuel rail, injectors, metal HG, added oil squirters, bigger radiator, radiator fan, ignition, fuel computers... etc... the list goes on................ i have no doubt the 3sge can produce 350+ HP as an NA engine.

I hope the Camry gearbox will holdup with that power, my camry has 360,000 ks or 223,000 miles on the clock, im unsure if the gearbox and drive shafts will holdup.
