replace manual seats with power

Hello,
I am new to this forum but I have noticed that you did something that I am trying to do myself. I bought a set of replacement seats for my 98 Camry but the new front seats are power and the old ones are manual. I have heard of people adding power to them and supposedly it's not that hard but I would like to get some advice on this. What is the first step? Do I strip the wiring harness out of a Camry with power seats at a junk yard or is there another way to just run power. Both driver and passenger are power. Thanks a lot for any help with this.

Simon

Find out where the plugs for the power seats are. Chances are, they are already in your car's wiring harness (the sockets). So i guess would be a plug in and play? And any other things like the control pad thingy (if it's not on the seat already) XD. This is all a big guess though

Controls are on the seat, you may need to just run power to them.

Yea it would be like wireing an amp. Not that hard. There may be connectors in the harness and you may have to only connect to it and install fuses in the panel. Doesnt seem to hard of a job. Maybe half to a full days work on the weekend. Dont really see how power is any better. Once adjusted you never reset your seat. Unless you have more than one driver using the car.
