Question need new struts! pls help!!

hey guys, i have a 93 camry i4 and it needs new struts bad! they are still the stock ones with 150k miles. i went to autozone and they said i could get the non-rebuildable insert type or buy the whole strut. what is better?? one is 24.99 each or the other is 54.99 each....thanks for you help!

depends if you have serviceble struts or not

do you have the option of taking the struts out and having a look then going to the parts store to get the apropriate item

Once you've confirmed that your model infact accepts inserts by refering to the Camry FAQ, I'd say go with inserts. They're much more economical and provide the identical performance. Obviously if your strut housing is damaged, you might want to consider getting the full sealed strut. You may also consider new strut mounts if they're worn.
