The motor is out of a 1995 Toyota mr2 Bathurst Special Edition 170hp, only 300 came in Aus, its a gen3 3sge motor and they go for $2200, the guy with the 3sge went in my car at the cruise, and he goes i love ur car man so il give it to you for $500 including computer and custom mounts for the camry, so its a straight bolt on, he was previously trying to sell it for $1800.

At the moment he is putting in a st205 3sgte Group A motor into his sv21 .

You're a lucky dude, aside from a few wires, its an easy drop in. How much does a 2nd gen 3SGE with tranny, ecu, harness go for on that side?

He told me he has custom engine mounts incase the stock ones break as they might not be able to cope with the power.

He sold it to me cheap, because he said he doesnt want some guy to buy it and blow it up straight away, hed rather give it to someone that will take car of it .

Anyway he is putting a st205 Group A 3sgte motor into his sv21 camry so i cant see him complaining.

hey bro ... the MR2 3s-ge engine mounts wont work... I suggest getting the 3s-ge engine mounts off the Celica... Which shares the same mounting points as your car...

Thanx man, but i have custom mounts made up.

Just a Question: what would it take me to get 100kw@front wheels?, with that engine producing 173hp or 129 kw stock?.

this should get you there easy... cams, big bore throttle body , intake ,some custom made wave headers, and exhaust... That should get you there easy... You dont need to port the 3s-ge is thats the one I think it is ... It should be a big port head ... The big port heads where used in the 3rd Gen 3S-GTE in the MR2's...
