'93 Camry locked up!

Alright so I was parking my car in a narrow parking space and got it way too far to the right side on the curb (I was almost on it) so I turned it off, opened the door, glanced at where the tires were in relation to the curb, and turned the wheel so that the tires were straight out so I could back out (so I was turning the tires while the car was off). Then I got back in, and tried to turn the car on, and the key wouldn't even turn and the wheel is locked shut. It's a 93 Toyota Camry. Is this some sort of antitheft thing I triggered or what (by turning the wheel without the car being on)???

for the 2nd time today-- turn the wheel some more in the same direction. The steering wheel column will 'click' and release. Then you can remove the key.

The key's not in the ignition, the problem is it won't let me turn it anymore when I try to put it back in and the wheel is locked.

jesus... nobody knows how their car works here...

put the key in the ignition and try to turn it on while turning the wheel to the left and right. You will hear it click and release..
