I need help with keyless entry and car alarm???

First off:: Do you need keyles entry to have a car alarm??

I have a 1992 toyota camry LE and I just called the dealer to see if it came with keyless entry features and he said it did not.. So is there any other way to see if some one may have added it on to the car??.... Like take the door panel off to see if theres an extra wire or something??

Did not think these extras were available from Toyota until 1996.

Look under the dash for a reset switch or button, the sign of a aftermarket unit. Guessing the unit is also under the dash with some remains under the steering column covers.

I don't know if this helps, but my uncle's 3rd Gen Vienta '95 has central locking and alarm (factory).

You can easily add central locking to the car, but don't know how the alarm can be factored in. Maybe some kits come with an alarm?

Don't know if the 92 LE had factory installed keyless entry and/or alarm, (My 90 LE DID NOT-I added it myself).
You could easily add keyless entry, alarm, or both.
Most car stereo places sell/install those systems, BestBuy(if you have one nearby) also sells them. (they can also tell you if you already have a system in place, in which case you need only the remote fot it).
JC whitney(and a lot of other places-google for "car alarms") also sell them if you want to install it yourself.
