USA question from non-mechanic

i'm a newbie to car maintanence but would like to learn. everything on my care is 'from the factory'. it is a 2007 camry se V6 with 40K miles. this morning (cooler than usual) the check engine light came on and the car shook slightly for about 1 minute and smelled like something was burning. i can't really describe the smell. that may be a poor description. my OBD II PocketScan machine yielded the following readings:
1. P0300 - random/multiple cylinder misfire
2. P0300pd
3. P0301 - cylinder 1 misfire detected
4. P0305 - cylinder 5 misfire detected
5. P0306 - cylinder 6 misfire detected
6. P0305pd
7. P0306pd

does this mean that i need to change the spark plugs? that would be odd with only 40K miles and 2 years old. thanks for any suggestions.

if there are all those misfire codes, it can be the maf, vacuum leaks, bad ignitor, ecu problem, and maybe a couple other things, but not individual sparkplugs
