07 Camry coolant flush question - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

i have a 07 camry SE with 39000 miles. After i changed the oil i did a service inspection and noticed coolant(pink in color) was just below the "L" line. Now my question is when i get the super long lasting coolant or wahtever at the dealership do i NEED to flush it all out before i top it off, or can i just fill it up to the "F" mark? any advice is much appreciated. Thanks

just fill it to the F mark

No need to flush the coolant just yet. Fill with distilled water and your done.

Don't just top it off with distilled water. Top it off with a 50/50 mix of distilled water and the new coolant. This will keep the mixture at the desired level to keep the system from freezing (probably not a big issue in Arizona) and to properly lubricate the water pump.
