Question 99 hanging EXTREMELY low to the ground

I have a '99 Camry LE and for some reason, the car keeps hanging extremely low to the ground. I can't even go over a speed bump without the subframe hitting the ground now. It's never been this bad. I've had people tell me different things, like it could be the shocks/struts and it could be the springs. I don't know what it could be, any help? I really appreciate it.

springs, for sure, and if its that bad, you'll need sway bar links, strut mounts, and probably new struts

that's a pretty big hole in the wallet

Damn, I knew that I had some serious suspension problems, but I didn't think it was that bad. I figure once we actually get a warm enough day to go out and do something with the car, I'll go and look around, check the suspension stuff and all. I can't wait to see how much all of this is going to cost me.

its a dealer item mostly, but a few parts stores do have them you'll have to call around

or you can go aftermarket (lowering and stiffer)

All right, I'm going to have to go and look into all of that and see what I can have done to it. Thanks for all of your help.

I don't know if you just got your car used, but if you did, previous owner was dumb enough to experiment on his car by cutting his springs??
