Tokico/Vogtland Noises

I just got my tokico blue full struts installed this week and i already have had vogtland springs on. But soon after i hear a spring slipping noises or the spring moving as i turn the wheel either direction, sounds would occur maybe 5-6 times when i make a full rotation of the wheel. The noises are only up front. I was told that it could possibly be the rubber that the spring sits on is not gripping correctly. Or that the spring is not sitting on the grooves of the strut or etc... i dont really get it. But is this a common problem when installing aftermarket suspension and would like a remedy.

Thanks

Re: Tokico/Vogtland Noises

JWA's car did the same thing, but he had warn throught the rubber bushings, so nothing was there. I have votglands on my car and my parents and no problems what so ever. Spend another 100 bucks or so, take an after noon, and replace all you rubber. You body and car will thank you.

is the rubber sheet that the spring sits on calle the bearing? Would it hurt my car whatsoever if this sound continues?

And 100$ is alot for pieces of rubber.

Thats toyota for you. It can be bad for your sturt mounts cuase its actually rubbing against them. You should be able to do the fronts for 50 bucks. Its not a bad idea to protect your investment
