What makes an SE legit?

this is mostly for the gen3-3.5.

what does the SE come with?

engine specs?
tranny specs?
suspension?
exterior?
interior?
brakes?

the gen 1-2 was not involved

the gen 3-3.5 was very specific

niether was the gen 4

the gen 5-6 seemed to have cheapened it.

but regaurdless what makes them a

"TRUE SE"

Soooo..... nobody knows what makes an SE legit?

Black leather steering wheel and e-brake.

SE only interior seating (more seportive front seats) and door panels.

ES300 tranny (For the 1MZ anyway)

Different steering rack.

Different springs and RSB.

In trunk, there is no small tool holder on the drivers side.

Only V6 that had a hand e-brake was the SE. All other V6's were foot.

That sounds about right.. It also had exclusive SE rims.

Just Googled and found something on Edmunds:

The SE, which was introduced as a late '92, was an enthusiast's version of the Camry and had the V6 engine, performance suspension, larger tires on unique alloy wheels, a quicker steering ratio and a numerically higher final drive ratio. What all this meant is that the SE cornered flatter and accelerated faster than any other Camry
