Unhappy No acceleration???

I am new to this site and you are my last resort in trying to find out what is wrong with my car. I was driving down the freeway and my gas pedal stopped accelerating. I then pulled over and when i came to a stop my check engine light came on and my car stalled. I have had my fuel pump, throttle cable, spark plugs, and a computer sensor machine hooked up to see if there were any sensors out and there weren't. If you have any other ideas where to look i would really appreciate any advice. I am female as you can tell lol. Help me please. Oh, i drive a 91 toyota camry 5 speed.

The engine died when you were driving or after the car came to a stop? Did the dash warning lights come on as the car was slowing down?

Was the CEL on before the engine quit?

Who is doing the work, you, a friend, a shop?

Was the engine checked for a broken timing belt, this would be the first place to start.

If OK check for ign spark. Remove the ign cable at the distributor that comes from the ign coil. Hold it about 1/2 inch from a ground point on the chassis and turn the ign key to start. A ground point is just something on the chassis the is bare metal and will conduct electricity.

Were all the electrical fuses checked?
