Arrow SRS Warning Light ON

Hey guys, I have a 96 Camry LE V6 and the SRS warning light poped up after I replaced the CV HalfShalf. I don't know what I've done wrong can you guys give me some inputs. It was my first time doing the axle so, not sure what steps I've need to go through. One curious Idea occured after the light came on is that I did not disconnect the battery, I don't know if that would caused the problem. Also, when I take the axle out again and turned on the ignition key, the Warning light is off, and the horn work( Horn does not work when the CV HalfShalf is installed).

Please give me some advice on what I should do to fix the problem. I don't know If I've messesd up any of the sensors, If I did, which sensor could I have possibly messed up?

Thank You,

Canada horn issues

Just wondering if you have made any head way.
I have a 97 Tacoma. My airbag light stayed on and the horn crapped out.
I paid a Toyota mechanic $60 to tell me it would be over $500 to fix.
Any response would be nice

Angry what the hell is wrong with dealers?

I resolved my airbag light in 10 minutes and for less than a dime, but first let me rant...

When I was 9 years old I went with my mom to buy a honda, she paid like 13-14k for it and the guy was trying to charge 70 for pinstripes after the fact. And as we left he started to offer an identical car to a couple walking in for the "low price" of 26,000 this was an accord and it was 1987....

Air bag light comes on a few years ago after using a cell phone charger, stays on for a couple weeks...

Toyota dealership on north 1st street san jose california wanted like 500 dollars to "replace the control cpu" or something (because he THOUGHT that MIGHT be the problem!!!)....

Light stays on for another 2-3 years until I pull the ig-b fuse from the fusebox (airbags make me feel more nervous than safe anyways) I kept it deactivated for a year...

Coincidentally I was at a dealership parts counter again this time at capitol toyota and I'm bored so I go and try to buy a book. I hand the guy behind the counter the repair manual and he starts to ring it up and wants to know my name and info or whatever which I thought was a little unnecessary for purchasing a haynes manual and I told the guy I wanna NOT give him my name and that I wanted to purchase the book anonymously, upon which he melts down throwing down his hands in a pathetic huff and in a pouting yelp cries "I don't care!!"

Man I took the book and put it back on the shelf neatly and though tempted I didn't say anything.

Oh yeah, the airbag - search for: Gen3 Airbag light

I did this on my 93 and it works now, just like new. About where to ground? there was screw a few inches from the connector that worked out just fine (don't run a 3-ought gauge down to battery ground, a hair thin wire to any chassis screw is fine) btw, don't put your head close to the airbag while resetting the module
