I have a 1991 camry with automatic transmission. I can get a manual transmission for it and the bell housing. Will the manual tranny work with the automatic motor?

yes just find a donor car with the same engine as yours that's 5spd everything will match up fine.. u don't even need a new ecu

These swaps have been done. Suggest a TN search on what others have done.

What model autotrans is in the car?

If an A140E IT has electric shift solenoids controlled by the computer. Something will need to be done to prevent the computer from setting trouble codes due to lack of these solenoids being connected.

Suggest you find a donor car to allow obtaining all the parts at once.
