Changing the spark plugs...

Okay, I got the front three with absolutely no problem. Did it in like 5 minutes.

Now, the rear three. Please tell me that there is a way besides taking off the intake manifold! I honestly don't feel confident about doing that.

I do have skinny arms and lots of extensions and flex's. It's the pain part that I don't like!

So this is an all day project just to change 3 spark plugs?

Don't forget the cursing also. With some patience, the rear ones are ably to be taken out. Try taking the passenger & middle ones (1 & 3) out from the passenger's side, then the driver one (5) from the driver's side. If you just have spark plug wires, it wouldn't be too bad. But if you have 3 more coils in the back, then you will need more cursing.

Luc,

They're coils. I curse enough as it is already!

So I should attack 1 and 3 from the passenger side and then 5 from the drivers side? I won't have to take the intake manifold off? That literally looks like a whole days work and there are a lot of things to take off.

I did it!

I did the front three last night and did the rear three tonight. And I didn't take the intake manifold off. It was extremely difficult and I contorted my body in ways that I don't think it's supposed to.

But after 3 hours, I changed the spark plugs in my Camry! Was it worth it? Yes it was.

BTW, I used Bosch platinum plugs. I use the +4's on my Corvette and they seemed to work fine.
