totalled camry

well i just totalled my 1993 camry a few hours ago...i was on a windy rode and the snow was startin to come down harder here in NJ, went straight into a pole at about 30-35 mph. My girlfriend hit the windshield and is at the hospital right now with her family and my mom, im only 18 myself and so is she, we we're just going to the mall and this is what happend to us..well

i just wanna say thank god i was in a camry and not some stupid small sports car, we would have been dead, easily, i escaped with just some bruises and cuts luckily, while my gf may not make it out 100%, we were wearing seatbelts, but she had the front strapped tucked back behind her and hit the windshield, could of been worse if it wasnt for the part of the seatbelt she did have on...

all in all i just wanna say, becareful in the snow and bad weather conditions, buckle up, not just cause its the law, because itll save ur life and the life of others with you, and be happy u have a camry, maybe its not the fastest car, maybe its not that $60,000 sports car u want, but it gets u where u want to go, and its not a civic ....be safe everyone, best wishes

That sucks! Glad neither of you are dead. I hope your girlfriend is OK. I'm glad I escaped from New Hampshire so I don't have to deal with snow anymore...

man, that's horrible. i hope both of you end up ok. you're totally right about camry's being really safe. i know from experience how tricky snow can be to drive on, so don't blame yourself for anything that happens. i hope everyone takes your advice on driving so we don't have anymore unfortunate accidents.

It really amazes me how many wrecks there have been lately. I know I don't post much but I read these posts everyday.

I hope your gf makes a full recovery, and that you are alright. That's all that really matters right now.
