abs conversion

I was wondering if i could put an abs system into my gen 2. If it was possible, which im thinking it is, what parts would be necessary to do this. Also, arent the abs systems from that time a bit hairy and don't work all that well? Thanks for your help.

I would say the best thing would be to do it with used parts. I don't know exactly what you'd need but I'd be interested to know if it's possible so that I could try it as well.

you'd need to add so many things, it wouldn't be worth it in my opinion

proper threshold braking can be as effective as any abs

Cool

The problem I see isn't mechanical, it's more how are you going to put the ABS computer for a gen3 in your car.

Find yourself a doner Lexus ES250. They are based off of a gen2 and most came with ABS standard. While you are at it you could transfer the rear discs and calipers, if you havn't got rear disc brakes already.

I don't think it'll be worth it bro. your gonna need the abs module, the cpu for that, then the speed sensors depending on what type of set up you want and you'll need the abs distributor that sends out the fluid...I think....

Abs is not worth the amount of money you'll have to spend finding used parts, etc. etc.
