not to sure if toyota still produces the engine. its been a while since they dropped it from the lineup. but there are tons of rebuild places online and at shops all over that sell or rebuild motors. one from toyota would be SUPER expensive.

anywhere from 600 to 2000 prolly. cost of labor, self built, pro rebuild, self rebuild, high millage, low millage...all will determine the end cost.

would you want to use your existing motor and rebuild?
would you rather jsut buy a rebuilt motor and install that?
how much of the work can you do yourself?

the most expensive will likely be buying a reman motor and having a shop install it. the cheapest would be using the motor ya got and having that rebuilt...depending on whats wrong with it anyways.
