these two are about the transmission. I have the 5sp, like every other self-respecting driver does, and I am wondering how much HP (to the crank) can it handle stock. Would a transmission cooler help or are those just for slushboxes? Ok, I guess I have three questions. Is there a short-shifter kit for the 3s-fe 5sp. I don't think so but how different are the camry 3s-fe 5sp and the MR2 or Celica 3s-ge/gte 5sp, assuming there are short-shift kits available for either of these transmissions? Whew, thanks for reading.

What's your tranny code? You have an 87, so I'm assuming it is an older 5-spd in which case I don't think it can handle too much power, especially if you are a 4cyl.
