A/C vs. ECON

Kinda feel like a noob asking this, but what's the difference between these air conditioning features can't say i notice any difference ??

The ECON feature slows down the compressor just a bit, and is intended to improve fuel economy when using the a/c. I had this feature on an 86 Camry I owned, but I could never see any difference in the fuel economy using this setting. YMMV.

thanks mike. ur response is close to what i suspected, although i thought it would allow the compressor's clutch to be disengaged more often to reduce the engine load. maybe it's even the same thing. well thanks all the same
