My G2 Dyno run [Video]

Heres a video of my camry on a recent dyno run, i had it done to see the difference in power, between the 3sfe and the 3sge going in soon. The car made 55.9kw or 75Hp at the wheels, which is quite good since the camry is stock except for the sports muffler and k&n panel filter.

75whp

And your car is a manual? I am going to guess it is because of the amount of miles on your ride. Engine must just be tired.

nice vid though.

Yeah i dont think the fuel filter has been changed for years and the spark plugs need to get changed soon, remember i have only a aftermarket muffler alone, not system. Everyone i know is getting same numbers for these minimal mods and cat back exhaust system gives 60kw, then header 74kw@wheels or 99.5hp. So what has ur car done Talisman?.

It just seems a little low to me. The other Australian guy who has the Genie header posted a while ago that he had 60kw @wheels stock. Also, i just figured that with a stick, you SHOULDN'T lose more than 20% because of drivetrain. So given that 3sfe engines have 115hp stock, whp should be around the low 90's.

As for my car, I don't know what it puts down. And if I dynoed it now, it wouldn't tell much. My car has a low mileage JDM engine with full custom exhaust, panel filter, underdrive pulleys, NGK wires and bosche plugs. The timing was advanced a little also. And the 3sge trans in it has a lightweight flywheel so my car is a abnormally strong runner. And I have no intention of returning it to stock to see what it would pull. I will probably put it on the dyno after I add my header and before I put on HotwheelHarmers head package just to see how much his head adds though.

Well on the day the temperature was 40 degrees celcius or 104 farenheit and i know for a fact my car runs worse when its hot, it feels like no power compared to when its runnung in cooler weather, so that could have affected the reading.
