Question Camry 2009 Stereo System

I got my Camry SE 2009 back in May 2008. for some reason the CD System started acting weird recently. the screen goes randomly blank, and the bottons do not work as they should... they don't do their designated function.

anybody has been experiencing that problem? anybody knows if it will still be covered by manufacturer's warranty?

Take it to the dealer, it's covered. See your warranty info - bumper to bumper 3/36, powertrain is 5/60.

It should be covered under the factory warranty. The problem is getting it to do it when the car is at the dealer. I suggest you keep a digital camera with you when you drive for a while, and when it does it, pull over and take a picture of the display so you can show it to the dealer. A cell phone camera will also work in a pinch. I had the problem of my display dissapearing periodically on my 07 XLE. Wouldn't do it when I brought it in, but the dealer knows me pretty well, so they believed me and ordered a new audio system for the car. That was about 6 or 7 months ago and so far no more problems.
