I was looking through the manual to get all the bulb sizes for the Cam, and the manual doesn't specify the sies of any of the interior bulbs. Anyone have any ideas what size they are? Especially intersted in the dome light bulbs, and the bulbs behind the guage instruments and the dash. Thanx guys

i bought a blue led dome light for my car, it's pretty tight and trippy ... but what sucks about changing the interior color it got darker inside and not as bright
yea for the domelight it would be best to get a super white light with maybe a blueish hint. Now i'm gonna go out and buy a bunch of 194 Blue bulbs cuz i hate the green instrument gauge panel, thats all getting changed to blue. Nice find rayray!

Dome light huh? Check this out the Luxeon dome light modules here: Luxeon Dome Module
These modules use Lumiled's Luxeon Star leds which are the brighest LED's in the world. The Luxeon Star 1 watt white led puts out around 25-67 lumens (depends on which bin you get) while the normal 5mm leds that you usually see average around 1 lumen each. I have three of these Luxeon dome modules in my truck and love them. Not only is the light output brighter and white compared to the PIAA bulbs I originally had, current draw is also way lower with the Luxeon dome modules.
You may have to do some slight modifications (ie. removing heatshield, chipping away some of the plastic on the housing, bending tabs, etc.) for clearance of the new module but it is worth it.
BTW, these Luxeon Star led's come in different colors too.
Hey everyone. i posted this when i first became a member...but did not get much feedback. i am trying again in hopes that ppl might have a solution.
now, i am trying to illuminate where driver and all passengers feet will be. so there will have to be lighting under the driver and passenger seats as well as in front under the glove compartment and the steering wheel. i want to hook it up such that it will light up like the dome light does. now, i am looking for equipment that will do that. i know that the 2002 lexus ES300 has it and it resembles a dome light, but it's not as bright. that is the effect i am going for. do any of you have any ideas at all? i know it's a weird mod, if you can call it that...but it's just something that i want to do.
fungke, I would throw in a Luxeon star led underneath the steering wheel area and throw another one underneath the glove box area and wire it to the dome light so they would come on whenever the dome light comes on. Maybe someone else could give another wiring point that is easier to access. You could wire it to the door switch but I don't think the new lights will come on when you have the door closed and the dome light switch in the "On" position. If a Luxeon star led is too bright, maybe a cluster of 30 or 45 degree 5mm leds will do it.
You could get a convertor board and two 1 Watt Luxeon star leds from the link I mentioned above or you could get this kit from Led Supply. This should do the trick.
you might just wanna get some regular LED's and hook them up to like the radio or headlights. on ebay they sell what is called city lights...those are basically just LED's in a casing for like 7bux each.
or you can get some little neon tubes pretty cheap and wire them up.
hmmm there is a thread going on now taht says the intreoir bulbs are the 74/37 size. I'm thinking the behind the dash ones are the 74/37 size and then the ones on the doors and all that are 194? What do you guys think?
