I have some Michelin Hydroedge all seasons. They're pretty good. It's got excellent dry traction and even during a hail storm I was able to maintain very decent traction (of course I wasn't driving like a maniac). I haven't tested it in the rain though, but I hear they're good in just about everything. Great treadwear too (85,000 miles). Pretty decent pricing at about $90/tire but I felt my money was well spent. The best part about the tire is the aggressive styling on the tread. Me likey.

Check Tirerack.com. Bridgestone Turanza LS-H are top rated in their class on the site.

I picked them up after reading the tirerack review and they are the best tires I have ever owned. At full throttle in the rain, I have trouble breaking loose with a 91 V6. In the dry they kick and I was running 50+ in the snow in the NE driving from Boston to NY (I drive a bit on the fast side).

At Costco they ran 104 a piece including balancing and warranty and kickin.

FYI: My father had picked them up for his Volvo also. We both compared notes after I ordered them since I had no idea he got the same tires. He said the same thing.
