Hello,

Really, Toyota Manufacturer's DTC p1410 is set when "EGR Valve Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction" (The EGR valve position sensor is mounted on the EGR valve and detects the lift amount of EGR valve. The lift amount of EGR valve which is detected by the EGR valve position sensor provides feedback to the ECM to
control the lift amount of EGR valve in response to engine operating conditions)
and p1411 - "EGR Valve Position Sensor Circuit Range-Performance".
Need check poor connector, voltage, resistance, etc.
Let me know if need description for Diagnostic.

Thanks a lot guys, first post and you have a ton of info. I know just how to check the EGR valve position sensor w/ multimeter, and luckly all egr hardware is under cylinder bank cover right on top. By the way I found another site that might be useful in getting info on trouble codes for cars other than Toyota, its http://www.diagnosticdialog.com/LookupCode.asp. Thanks again, now where's a good place to buy toyota parts cheap. I already sent for a estimate to Jay Marks Toyota in Houston.
